REASONS FOR THE CANCELLATION OF TODAY'S BROADCAST OF MR. PRESIDENT.

The media Adviser to Nigeria President,Deacon Femi Adesina confirmed on his Twitter page and quoted below.

"No presidential broadcast on COVID-19 updates today. None was planned. Rather, the Presidential Task Force will during its usual  media briefings bring the nation up to speed on the next steps".

There has been rumour since the early hours of today about a purported broadcast by President Muhammadu Buhari.

The news emanating from the Presidency has it that the Broadcast might however be cancelled due to the resolution of the virtual meeting the President held with the state Governors.

The broadcast could however be tagged as a rumour because no time was attached to it. It could just be the usual expectations from Nigerians after the yesterday meeting with the Presidential Taskforce on Covid-19.
