Northern Nigeria needs urgent Coronavirus Intervention.

Considering the urgent need to carry out tests for people to know their Coronavirus status, locations of molecular laboratory made available for testing by the NCDC, shows that core northern states are not captured.

Only the FCT Abuja laboratory which is in the North Central is only available for Northern Nigeria. This may only serve some parts of neighbouring states. Other states that are as far as the least of 12 hours drive may encounter challenges in carrying out their test.

Citizens of this states hereby call on the Federal Government and the NCDC to as a matter of urgency situate laboratories that will serve them.
